In addition, it is shown that this quadratic sum can be derived in a recursive form for several useful weighted functions. The formula of the weighted quadratic sum is obtained from matrix z-transform formulation. On the time- weighted quadratic sum of linear discrete systemsĪ method is proposed for obtaining the time- weighted quadratic sum for linear discrete systems. The significance of this study is to propose a new enhanced index tracking model with sum weighted apporach which contributes 67% improvement on the portfolio mean return as compared to the existing model.
Besides that, the proposed model is able to outperform the existing model in tracking the benchmark index. The results of this study show that the optimal portfolio of the proposed model is able to generate higher mean return than the benchmark index at minimum tracking error. The optimal portfolio composition and performance of both models are determined and compared in terms of portfolio mean return, tracking error and information ratio. The objective of this paper is to propose a new enhanced index tracking model with sum weighted approach to improve the existing index tracking model for tracking the benchmark Technology Index in Malaysia. Enhanced index tracking is an improved portfolio management which aims to generate higher portfolio return than the benchmark index return besides minimizing the tracking error. Index tracking is a portfolio management which aims to construct the optimal portfolio to achieve similar return with the benchmark index return at minimum tracking error without purchasing all the stocks that make up the index. Siew, Lam Weng Jaaman, Saiful Hafizah Hoe, Lam Weng A short discussion concerning some aspects of energy weighted sum rules in the case of realistic nuclei is included.Ī new enhanced index tracking model in portfolio optimization with sum weighted approach The results confirm founding obtained within the SO(5) model that the energy- weighted sum rules of ΔZ = 2 nuclei are governed by the residual interactions of nuclear Hamiltonian. It is found that there is a dominance of contribution of a single state of the intermediate nucleus to the sum rule. Å tefánik, DuÅ¡an Å imkovic, Fedor Faessler, AmandĮnergy- weighted sum rules associated with ΔZ = 2 nuclei are obtained for the Fermi and the Gamow-Teller operators within the SO(8) model. These results provide direct evidence that blood cholesterol levels influence vascular progenitor cell function, which could be a potential target cell for treatment of vascular disease.Energy- weighted sum rules connecting ΔZ = 2 nuclei within the SO(8) model Furthermore, we show that lipid loading increased miRNA-29b expression and induced sirtuin-1 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 levels to promote cell migration. This increased migratory ability was mimicked by lipid loading to SCA-1 + cells. Adventitial progenitors from ApoE-deficient mice displayed an augmented migratory potential both in vitro and in vivo.
We employed single-cell sequencing technology on primary adventitial mouse SCA-1 + cells from wild-type and atherosclerotic-prone (ApoE-deficient) mice and found that a group of genes controlling cell migration and matrix protein degradation was highly altered. It has been shown that SCA-1 + progenitor cells are involved in neointimal hyperplasia of vein grafts, but little is known concerning their involvement in hyperlipidemia-induced atherosclerosis. Adventitial progenitor cells, including SCA-1 + and mesenchymal stem cells, are believed to be important in vascular remodeling.
